Data Protection Notice

Alfa Psikoloji Destek Merkezi (Hayrettin Şahin) ("the Center") acts as data controller under Turkey's Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK") and wishes to inform you about how your personal data is processed.

Data We Process

When you book an appointment, fill in the contact form, or use our services, we may process your identity/contact data (name, phone, email, address) as well as health information you share during sessions (special category data).

Purposes

• Creating and managing appointments and reaching you
• Delivering the psychological counseling service
• Fulfilling legal obligations
• Measuring service quality and responding to your inquiries

Legal Basis

Your identity/contact data is processed based on contract performance and legitimate interest; your health data is processed only with your explicit consent (see the Explicit Consent Text).

Sharing

Your data may be shared with vendors providing appointment, email/SMS notification, or web hosting services, only to the extent necessary and in compliance with the law. Health data is not shared with third parties without your consent or a legal requirement.

Retention

Your personal data is retained for the period required by applicable law and the purpose of processing, after which it is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

Your Rights

Under KVKK Art. 11, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn its purpose, know third parties it's shared with, request correction or deletion, object to processing, and claim compensation for damages.
